People often apologise to me in clinic. “Sorry if my hair’s a mess/my feet smell/I didn’t wear the right outfit/I didn’t shave”. There are so many ways that we feel uncomfortable, or inadequate or wrong, even around really minor things.
Deciding to have treatment can be confronting sometimes, but I invite you to be here without fear of judgement or rejection. I aim to meet you with a spirit of openness, curiosity and non-judgement.
Being a human in the world is wonderful, but it can also be exhausting and frustrating and hard. I hope that your time spent in clinic can be a brief reprieve from the noise and chaos, and that you can leave feeling restored, no matter how messy your hair was when you came in.
With love,
Kimberley
